What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in the same way. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), transposed in Romania by Article 4(5) of Law 506/2004, cookies that are not strictly necessary may only be set with your prior consent.
We use no advertising, retargeting or social media cookies. We do not sell or share data for advertising.

Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept analytics. If you reject or ignore the banner, none of them are set.
Matomo
We use Matomo, an open-source analytics tool, hosted on our own server at jugglerhost.com (site ID 13). Data collected by Matomo is not shared with Matomo's developers or any third party.
- Without consent, Matomo measures visits without cookies: pages viewed, time of the visit, referring website, browser, device type, screen size, language and approximate country. Your IP address is anonymized before it is stored, and visits cannot be linked across days.
- With consent, Matomo also sets the cookies listed above, so we can recognize returning visitors and measure visits more accurately.
Matomo data is kept for no longer than 14 months and is then deleted.
Google Analytics
With your consent only, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M0G1D8SB54), provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acting as our processor. Google Analytics collects information about your use of the site (pages viewed, events such as clicks and form submissions, referrer, device, browser and approximate location) through the cookies listed above. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023), with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses as an additional safeguard. Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months. Google signals and advertising features are not enabled.

Legal basis
- Strictly necessary storage (your consent choice): exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Article 4(6) of Law 506/2004; processing based on our legitimate interest in recording your choice (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and our legal obligation to demonstrate consent (Articles 6(1)(c) and 7(1) GDPR).
- Cookieless Matomo measurement: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it working (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time; see your rights.
- Analytics cookies (Matomo and Google Analytics): your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 4(5) of Law 506/2004).
Your choices and withdrawing consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept analytics or Reject. Both options are equally easy, and the site works the same either way. We ask again after 12 months.
You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings, also linked in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics, deletes the analytics cookies on igaming.express and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, use the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro, or with the authority in your country of residence.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we change the tools we use. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we add new categories of cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
