President Iohannis promulgated Law 326/2022 which obliges gambling halls to make lists of players.
Today, November 28, the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, promulgated the law that obliges gambling hall operators to make lists of players.
The law promulgated by the president provides “the introduction of the obligation of gambling organizers to establish and keep up-to-date a database of self-excluded and undesirable persons and to keep records in a centralized electronic format of the identification data of persons entering the premises locations where gambling is organized and exploited”.
About a month ago, liberal deputy Florin Roman declared on his personal Facebook page:
“I passed another important law through the parliament, which I initiated as a deputy, with the support of my PNL colleagues.
The law provides the legal tool by which drug addicts can be stopped from ruining their lives. And for parents to be able to protect their children from this “drug”.
Together with the PNL, we conclude a legislative package by which we protect minors from unhealthy fast food in schools, sanction with the closure of establishments for those who sell alcohol and tobacco to minors, or apply drastic punishments for those who sell narcotics to our children.”
